Awtac Channel Amplifier - Preamp-eq Mono Awtac Channel Amplifier - Preamp-eq Mono The Awtac Channel Amplifier is the first link in the chain of a mixing console strip. Its primary purpose is not to be a great mic preamp, nor to provide a great EQ (even though that is what they happen to be nonetheless), but to find its place in a great recording console. Period. It is entirely designed and handcrafted in NYC, USA, with the finest components available. As an example, when it comes to connectivity, everything inside is gold-plated. Using a double wide 500 format (5 units will fit in a Purple Audio Sweet Ten Rack for example, which is recommended, but other lunchboxes from other manufacturers will also work just fine, providing the necessary DC power and rear panel I/O connectors), this mic pre and line level amplifier features a three-band EQ built around a three frequency baxandall high and low shelf and an inductor-based 10-band midrange. You can also use it as a direct box for guitars, basses, electric pianos and more, and, of course, as a mixer when coupled with another or several Awtac Channel Amplifiers. Now you can record a guitar with 3 or more mics and send the whole thing to a mono source, while mixing your tracks from your DAW. Main Features Controls: Input: - Input Selector Switch: 12 rotary positions for both mic and line level signals - 5 line positions: -6dB to +15dB - 7 mic level positions: +65dB at max - LED and Phantom Power Switch - Direct Instrument Input Jack: ¼ phone plug, optimized for passive pickups, but works just fine with active output instruments Output: - High Pass Filter Switch: 12dB/Octave @ 130Hz when switched to the right - Polarity Reverse Switch: switches the phase when engaged to the right - Passive Mix Buss Switch: assigns a secondary winding of the AW26 Output Transformer to the Left, Center or Right mix buss for passive mixing - Output Fader Pot: Full On at 3 o´clock, being unity gain. Attenuate your signal by turning the knob counterclockwise. - Output Transformer Loading Switch: 1,2kO load in the up position, 600O load in the down position and no loading resistor in the center position EQ section: - Equalizer Network Control Switch: Engage/Bypass - Baxandall High Frequency Shelving Amp Pot: 12dB cut or boost, on the selected frequency - High Shelf Frequency Select Switch: 3-way toggle, 11kHz up, 6kHz down and 17kHz center (± 10 dBu @ 6kHz, 11kHz, and 17kHz) - Mid Amp Pot: 12dB cut or boost, on the selected frequency - Mid Frequency Select Switch: 10 positions, 8 frequencies from 300Hz to 8kHz and wide or narrow bell curve for 1kHz and 3kHz positions - Baxandall Low Frequency Shelving Amp Pot: 12dB cut or boost, on the selected frequency - Forward/Backward Switch: sit your tracks psycho acoustically at the back or at the front of the mix Rear panel Connectivity will depend on the host lunchbox used. For example, a compressor or a long-throw fader can be inserted in the send/return loop of a Sweet Ten, and will look like this: Left side (2): - Buss output (XLR) - In/Out (1/4 TRS): disabled - Buss Input (XLR) Right side (1): - Direct Output (XLR) - Fader Loop (1/4 TRS) (or compressor loop) - Mic/Line Input (XLR) Audio Pro Home Studio > 500 series and modular > Modules > Mikrofon Vorverstärker Awtac Channel Amplifier - Preamp-eq Mono: Weitere Informationen... |
