Under the guidance of general editor Ben Parry, all the arrangements have been flexibly written for soprano, alto and optional men, with piano accompaniment.Somebody to Love featured on Queen´s 1976 album A Day at the Races. The lyrics, especially combined with a gospel influence, create a song about faith, desperation and soul-searching. In the original version band members Freddie Mercury, Brian May and Roger Taylor multitracked their voices to recreate a 100-strong choir. Covered many times, the song has recently appeared in the popular American TV hit, Glee.
